The origin of Craps is disputed to this day. Some historians claim that a rudimentary version of it (with dice made from pig bones) was played among soldiers of the Roman Empire. Others claim that the creator of the game was Sir William of Tire, in 1125, who created the game to entertain his soldiers during the siege of an Arab castle.
It's true that you are probably not a soldier waiting to be entertained during an historic event, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun and profit from this game, right?

How to Play Craps: Rules, Prizes and Bet Types!
If you want to play the best Craps Game, you need to understand what its rules are, what prizes are available and, most importantly, what types of bets you can (or should) place.
Check out a brief explanation of each point below!
Craps Rules
A game of Craps can be played by up to 12 people at the same time (at a real casino table) and is divided into two moments: the come-out and the point.
The starting roll is the initial moment, with the first roll of the dice made by the shooter (one of the players takes this role, at a time). If the bowler rolls a 7 or an 11 on the roll out, he rolls a "natural" and wins. If he rolls a 2, 3, or 12, he loses the turn. In both cases, the round ends and a new one begins afterwards.
If the caster gets any other sum of the dice (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10), a Point happens. A point is characterized by the sum obtained.
For example, if the thrower rolled a 2 on the first dice and a 6 on the second, he got a point of 8. From that moment on, he will roll the dice until he hits the point (rolling a sum of 8 again, like a 3 and 5, for example) or get the number 7.
In that case, he suffers a "seven out" and must stop being the shooter, with someone else taking his place. In online Craps games, you are always the shooter.
Pass Line and Don't Pass Line Bet
In a Pass Line bet, the player (can be the shooter or anyone else) wins if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 on the out roll, or if the game goes into a Point and the player manages to hit the point later.
However, the player loses if the shooter hits a 2, 3 or 12 on the out roll. If the shooter scores a point, then the bet is lost if the player rolls a 7 before hitting the point.
A Don't Pass Line bet is the opposite: the player (or the dice-roller) bets that the dice-thrower will roll a 2 or 3 on the out roll. If he rolls a 12, there is a tie and everyone gets their money back.
If the shooter gets a point in that game of Craps, the Don't Pass Line bet is successful if he rolls a 7 before reaching the point.
In either case, the payout for a Pass Line or Don't Pass Line bet is 1:1. That is, you bet 10 and win 20 (profit the same amount you bet).
Come or Don’t Come bet
These bets are exactly the same as Pass Line or Don't Pass Line, except they can only be placed on the Point. That is, instead of placing a bet on the outgoing pitch, players wait for the pitcher to make the first pitch and only then position themselves.
In this case, the logic is the same:
Come Bet: The player wins if the shooter hits 7 or 11 or if he hits the point before rolling a 7;
Don't Come Bet: The player wins if the shooter rolls a 2 or 3 (tie if 12) or if the shooter rolls a 7 before hitting the point.
Other Craps bets
There are other (more specific) bets that can be placed on an online Craps game. See the most common ones below:
- Place bets: are made after the outbound toss. In them, the player bets on the exact sum that the dice will reach in the next round. Payouts are 9:5 if the number is 4 or 10, 7:5 if the sum is 5 or 9 and 7:6 if the sum is 6 or 8.
- Hard Path Bet: It is the same as the Place Bet, but the player thinks that the bet sum will be obtained with the two dice in the same value. For example, you bet that the sum will be 4 with the two dice with the number 2. The payouts are 9:1 in the case of a 4 or 10 and 7:1 in the case of a 6 or 8.
- Big 6 and Big 8: These are bets where the player will get a sum 6 or sum 8, respectively, before getting the point. The payout is 1:1 in both cases.
Best Strategies to Win at Craps Game
If you want to improve your chances of winning at Craps Online, you need a game strategy. Here are some great strategies you can try to apply on your online craps game.
Iron Cross Strategy
This strategy is only done when a point has already been established. Basically, it consists of placing bets on the Field (betting that the sums 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12 will come out) and placing individual bets on the 5, 6 and 8. Thus, the player guarantees that he will win the bet except if the thrower rolls a 7.
As each Craps bet has a different payout, for it to work the player must place a bet unit on the Field and another on the 5. Then, he must place 1.2 units on the 6 and on the 8. For example, if your unit is $10, then you will bet $10 on Field and $10 on 5. Then you will bet $12 on 6 and $12 on 8. Adding a total of $44.
6/8 Strategy
This strategy focuses on betting on the sum of 6 or 8, which are the most common after 7. The idea is to make a progressive bet: you place a value and, if you hit it, you collect the winnings.
If you make a mistake and you lose, repeat the bet by increasing the amount. As it is a progressive bet, when you eventually win, you will recover all the invested amount + profit. However, it may take time to win and your money can run out.
Pass Line Bet + 2 Come Bets
According to a statistical study, the "safest" strategy for playing Craps Online or in person is to follow a strategy of placing a Pass Line bet at the beginning and then two Come bets before exiting the game.
This approach performed with the least chance of the player losing all their money in 200,000 computer-generated simulations.
