With the World Cup fast approaching, we’ve taken a closer look at the current favourites with the bookmakers to be the World Cup Champion in Qatar 2022

Brazil - 5.00
It is around 20 years since Brazil won the World Cup and it was in 2002 Korea Japan, but they now head to Qatar as one of the favourites for being champions as they chase a record sixth world cup win. They have a great players at present, and coach Tite has the likes of Thiago Silva, Neymar, Gabriel Jesus, Casemiro, Vinicius Junior and Alisson at his disposal - they look set to go very close.

France - 7.00
French are the reigning World Cup holders, and they are again very strong candidates that could do double on World Cup in Qatar 2022. They are strongly fancied to get another serious challenge in this years competition. Didier Deschamp’s team know what it takes to win the tournament such as this and they have done it on the previous one. Also they are having very very capable and most talented players such as Kylian Mbappe and Ballon d'or 2022 winner Karim Benzema and they are two of the best attacking players in world football.

Argentina - 7.40
Like their South American rivals Brazil, Argentina have been a long waiting for World Cup Championship since their last World Cup success back in 1986 when Diego Marodona was their best player. They also have a very good, strong and settled squad, and they will be doing all they can to make Lionel Messi in his quest to win the one major championship that has so far not happened. They have great players like Angel DiMaria, Paulo Dybala a long side wih Lionel Messi

England - 8.40
England are traditionally among the favourites to win a major tournament even though never happens:)  England fans always punting on England to win and for a very long time no one won anything yet. This time around, though, England have a some real chance for being World champion. If they have build their experience of reaching the Euro 2020 final last summer and bring that on to this World Cup tournament then for real this time England have a real chance to win the Qatar 2022

Spain - 9.00
In 2010 we saw Spain crowned World Cup champions, but they have been disappointed in the last two tournaments since that success. Luis Enrique has built a team full of young talent, but they are in a very strong group this time, facing Germany, Costa Rica, and Japan. So if they could stick with their traditional game play and also hold on to their nerves then why not, of course the Spain would have one of the chances to win the World Cup 2022 this year.
