How does Blackjack betting work?
There are several types of bets and actions that can be taken on a Blackjack game. Once you've received your two starting cards, it's up to you to decide whether to:
Stand – you won’t receive any more cards and you accept the total of your cards as a final score. You can only take this action if you have a score of 12 or higher, or until the total score of your cards reaches or exceeds 21.
Fold - if this option is offered, you can choose to fold your hand, taking half your bet. Attention: You can only fold when you are presented with the two starting cards. If you decide to ask or open, you can no longer give up.
Hit - when the player decides to "hit", he receives a new card and keeps his bet. As a player, you can "call" as long as your hand does not exceed 20.
Split - a player can "split" when their first two cards are of the same value. This action allows you to split your hand into two independent hands, placing a bet on each of the new hands, each with the same value as the original bet, thus receiving a new card in each of the hands.
Doubling - when the total hand score is 9, 10 or 11, the player can double the bet on that hand, receiving only one more card.
Receive - when the player has blackjack and the dealer's first card is an Ace, the player can choose to receive their bet value instead of competing with the dealer.
Taking Insurance - when the bank has an Ace visible, the player is offered the possibility to place an additional bet, corresponding to half of the original bet. The player can then receive double their stake if the banker has a blackjack.
