Online European Blackjack
European Blackjack is one of the most popular variations of the casino classic Blackjack game. Like all Blackjack variations, European Online Blackjack is played with two or more decks of 52 cards and the goal is to obtain a set of cards that are better than the dealer's, meaning that have a value equal to or close to 21, but never more than that amount. The game can be played individually (single hand) or with others (multi hand).
The main difference to the American version is how the cards are placed on the table. In the European Blackjack version, the player receives both cards while the dealer only takes one. It is at this point that the player decides what and how much he wants to bet. He can either hit (ask for one more card) or stand (stay with the cards he has) and, only after making all the decisions, does the dealer pick up the second card.

How to play European Blackjack
In this free online game, your ultimate goal is to try to do blackjack, which is to get a fair score of 21 by adding the values of the cards in your hand. You can stand earlier and keep what you have without having to reach 21, but to ensure you have a good chance to win it should at least be close to this figure, since from then on, your score must be higher than the dealer’s score to win.
The dealer initially deals two cards to the player and himself. The game then becomes a one-on-one in which whoever scores 21 or stays closer without going overboard wins. The player can ask to be given another card as many times as he wants until he reaches 21 or bust. If you bust, meaning you go over 21, you lose. When close to 21, you will be faced with the decision to stand and play safe, or to hit for one more card in the hopes of getting even closer. Are you a risk taker?
If the dealer plays his hand and he also makes 21 the game will end in a draw.

Online European Blackjack rules, tips and bets
Although different online casinos can offer different variations, is it very common that within European blackjack the Dealer stays at the stand when he has a 17.
An important concept to be familiar with is the soft/hard hand. A soft hand is one that includes an ace – since the ace can be valued as 1 or 11 (your choice), this is a more malleable hand. On the contrary, a hard hand is one without an ace and therefore less flexible.
If you have a perfect Blackjack, reaching the number 21, the profit will be 1.5 times what you invested. So, if you bet 10, you will get the 10 back plus 15 in the profit. If you got closer to 21 than the dealer, who either busted or had a lower number than you – for example, you hit 18 and his total was 16 – you get your bet back and the same amount of profit.
Below we'll talk about some bets you can make on European Blackjack Online besides hit or stand. We'll leave the term in English for you to get used to the expressions as they appear in online casinos.
Possible bets on Online European Blackjack:
Double Down - You can double your bet if you have 9, 10 or 11 in your hand.
Re-bet – repeats the bet made in the previous game at the start of the next game.
Split - If the two cards in your hand are of the same rank, you can split them and create two hands in the same game, with the same bet for the second hand as you made for the first.
Insurance - if the dealer has an ace starting card, you can take out Insurance and thus earn money if the dealer hits a blackjack
Surrender - The player may fold after receiving their initial two cards and keep half of the wager at the start. This functionality is not possible in 100% of games.
Perfect Pairs – A side bet that rewards whoever has a pair of matching cards. Not all casinos offer this bet.
There's still the Push, which is when the two hands are the same and neither of the two wants to stay in the game. Money is refunded.
